PARTS PREFERENCES: 20-21.5" LCD, Mid tower case, (x6 1090t or i7-930?) 1 tb HD (HD 5850 or 5870?),and I wouldn't like to use a Gigabyte motherboard, 6-8 gigs of ram.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1600x900, 1680x1050, 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Just a nice simple case without bling and a quiet pc. Perhaps water/liquid cooled? Although I am a beginner and I don't want to screw that up :sol: However I might get my brother to help me, who has built 2 computers before.

Well first off, water cooling done right is pretty expensive ~$300 at least for CPU only cooling. Really isn't worth the hassle and price. You're better off with this budget, putting the money towards good hardware.

It's a good HSF, enough to get most CPU's to 4ghz with comfortable temps. The Scythe mugen performs a bit better for $10 more, but it's got compatibility issues with tall RAM.
