Looking at building a system and can't decide between them. Any comments are welcome.

You will get a lot of replies from AMD and Intel fans saying which is the better system. On pure performance alone the i7 930 is the quicker system, and they are very good overclockers too.

IMO neither system is great, if these aren't prebuilts and you can select components:

AMD build should drop the 1090T to a 1055t for better price/performance, and the GPU to a 470/mobo to an 870 chipset.

That's ~200$ that could then be put to use on an SSD/nicer monitor, while giving very close to the same performance.

Intel build should be a P55 i5-760 build with 4GB of ram, dual 1GB 460s, less than a 150$ mobo, and maybe a nicer PSU.

Raid 0 is absolutely stupid on mechanical hard drives right now.
 
I would get an antec 902 instead of the 900. The 902 has dust filters. My 900 looks great, but needs dusted out alot more than my 300 illusion, which has dust filters on the front intake fans.
