Good gaming laptop computer?

Hello
Let me start off by saying that i am 15 and do not know much about computers. What i am looking for is a good solid gaming computer capable of playing F.E.A.R and other modern games. let me post the specs of the computers i hav found:

Asus x83v
Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0 Ghz processor
4GB DDR2 memory
250GB SATA Hard Drive
nVidia GeForce 9600M GS video card


Alienware m9700
2 GHz AMD Turion 64 Processor, ML-40
RAM: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 120 GB
9700 nividea 7900 GS with 512MB (dual cards i think?)




These are the two computers that i am looking at for the moment but if any1 has any suggestions please tell me=)
which computer do you think would perform better? btw these are both laptops

The 9600M is around #100, the 7900GS is about 10 slots higher. Less than a 10% difference in their benchmarks with the 9600M in the lead. If its dual 7900GS SLI then they slightly pass the 9600M in benchmarks. Also the 9600M is a newer DX10 graphics card, the 7900 is older and only does DX9. Considering DX11 is already out, that pretty much rules out the 7900 for me.
