It should work on a 460W psu, Ive had 5870's running on 200W psu's before.. So getting a 460 to run on a 460W should be fine

if its the extreme power plus 460, you are really pushing it

if its the Master Elite Power 460, you are really really pushing

both are really 400w units

It is possible to run the 5870 on a 200W psu, just not the best ideas... tried it with 2 5870's one was Sapphire Vapour-x other was just a standard xfx 5870, both of them ran fine for general purpose pc usage.. when gaming got involved the Sapphire card couldnt run, the xfx ran fine though which was kinda supprising since it says 500 - 600W recomneded Power. so you can run a card on less then recomended and it work fine but like i said, not the best of ideas lol was a fun test to do though
