Good Gaming Graphics Card?

I currently have an Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family installed. It's great for normal everyday use. But it totally suck for gaming. I want to upgrade to a graphics card that is more suited for MMORPG gaming. I have an HP with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor. What graphics card would you recommend?

Whats your budget, what games specifically do you want to play, do you want 3dVision we need more details.
As an alround card the GTX 460 is a sound opption atm.

Well, check your psu, if its 300W I would say get an ATI 5770, its cheap and it runs games pretty well. If you dont mind upgrading psu aswell go for a 500 - 700W PSU and then grab yourself the gtx 460 or even a 470 if you have the cash or in the ATI ways a 5850 or 5870

PSU and Monitor details are probably good bits of information at this point.

Not to mention a budget.

Generally, best bang for your buck performance, GTX 460 would be my choice right now. But it won't run on 300W psu.

MMORPG doesn't really need a high GPU spec. Well, it depends on the game though. But just to be safe, you could consider a low powered HD5570. it's rated above HD4650 at tom's chart with lower power consumption. Assuming your PSU is a 300W built-in HP's PC as stated by the experienced people here, this is a the best compromise to your PSU's capacity.

hi dude you should get hd 4870 with 500w psu...... it would be suitable for your system.....it is better then hd5770 in benchmarks but hd 5770 provide new features at low power...so atleast decide between these two cards if you have low budget......

I wouldn't run an HD5770 on a 300w HP PSU. Or any card with a power connector really.

The HD4870 was only faster on the initial drivers for the HD5770. That is no longer the case.
