USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: movie watching,light gaming,webn surfing

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ecs 8800 gts 320 mb pci-e 1.0 and rosewill 600 watt psu

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: intel dg965wh motherboard,core 2 duo e6300,kingston 4 gb ddr2 667,coolermaster storm scout case,rosewill media card reader,hitachi 250 gb sata hdd

For that money I can't see you getting a GTX470 or 480 but a HD5770 or GTX460 should be within reach, both should work on that PSU but the 460 would be the better gaming card.

Yeah, HD5770 or GTX 460 depending on what you want to spend.
