Stress Test Results Tags: Homebuilt Stress Test Graphics Cards Systems Last response: August 25, 2010 5:18 PM in Systems Share zamn10210 August 25, 2010 1:11:14 AM I've just run some stress tests on my new build (Prime95 Blend and FurMark) and these are my results: CPU (Phenom II X4 955 @3.6GHz): Peaks at 69 °C, settles down around 64 °C once the fan kicks in Graphics card (Radeon HD 5770 1GB): Peaks at 83 °C, averages around 81 °C How do those numbers look? Are those CPU temps ok or should I reduce the overclock? Would it be safe to overclock the graphics card a little at those temperatures? Thanks. I'd consider buying another one but the stock cooler seems to be holding out ok for now. I know some graphics card run hit 90+ under extreme load but I don't know whether that's ok really. I think my airflow is decent enough, front and rear 120mm fans.
