Memory compatibility question

Guys

I plan to add 2x4gb Samsung M393B5170FH0-YH9 chips in a new PC I'm building

Here is the board & CPU

Would it work? Can someone also tell me how they check on finding if it's compatible or not?

I would usually just buy new RAM since I don't need ECC RAM but have this RAM pulled out from another server system

Registered ram won't run on a desktop board, but ecc unregistered ram might. You'll just have to try it.

The description of this RAM does say it's registered:
