Cpu fan error on boot

I just got building my first computer and when i went to boot it up it says "cpu fan error" the temp is reading at 60 degrees C. I have an i5 2500 sandy bridge with stock fan. Please help me out!

Try checking those connection on your stock cpu fan if they are seated properly on the motherboard's cpu fan connection.
