should i buy a processor that is 2.8 GHZ and overclock it with a fan

OR

should i buy a processor that is like 3.2 and just use the stock fan ?

which is faster ?

Buy the 3.2 and overclock it with a fan.

Stock coolers are pretty poor for noise and overclocking, decent, quiet coolers don't have to be expensive.

If the CPU's are the same spec then the one with the higher clockspeed will be quicker, in this case the 3.2.

Whats the model of the cpu's your looking at?
