Crucial M4 or Samsung 830/840/840 Pro depending on which one is on sale. Newegg kinda switches between those models for the sub $/GB category. All of those drives are excellent and very reliable.

I'll second that kingston hyper x drive. Newegg customers seem pretty happy with it, and the performance is great.

Sandforce controllers are little slower with in compressible data but have very good performance on compressible data. In real world scenario - we generally use a combination of compressible & in compressible data ( MPEG, TIFF etc) and sandforce controller performance is as good or even better than most ssd's. Apart from that i think Sandforce drives have longer Kingston SSD's are much better than OCZ because it usually has Quality problems and vlow customer support
