ATI 5670 confusion

Hi,
My brother has just bought an XFX Radeon HD 5670. The only problem is we cannot find the two 6-pin PCI-e power sockets that are supposed to be, according to the guide, attached to the top of the card. The contacts are present.

We have googled this range of cards and it seems they are all missing them. Please could anybody explain what's going on?

Someone else just asked this same question. Your reading generic directions for more than one model of card. The 5670 does not require any external power. Just install card/drivers.
At least your reading the directions though !

Thankyou for the reply.
But surely it can't draw all its power from the pci express? Even my GTS250 needs a 6-pin and many websites are recommending people to have two free 6-pin PCI-e connectors from a psu if buying a HD 5670. Although all images seem to be missing them too.

Perhaps it is something to do with it being PCI-e 2.1 card? Anyway we really need some solid conformation that it doesn't require a power connector because it'll hold up our build. Much appreciated
