Ok, well I got my computer reformatted, and so now, I need to find the driver I had before i had my computer swiped. I think i had a VIA Audio Deck Driver, but sadly there is no downloads anywhere without getting those annoying 'Driver Finders' that you subscribe to and end up getting BS drivers anyways.

More about : audio driver

It says in device managaer its an ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio - ATI AA01.

It also says Legacy Audio Drivers but the actual drivers I had running and using it to control volume and such was VIA Vinyl Audio Deck.

And under Other it has Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus...

and an uknown..

What mobo do you have?
If you know go to their website and download the drivers for your specific model #.

Mobo is lingo for motherboard.
Download cpu-z which is free and it will give you the proper info.

Do you need the bottom download on this page?

For me it fixed "other" and "unknown".
