Ssd drive not showing up in my computer

Hello,

I just got a Kingston HyperX 3K SH103S3/120G SSD and the drive is now showing up in "My Computer."

On the boot up screen, I saw this device noted and also noted in add hardware.

I went into computer management and under volume it stats;

Disk: Disk0
Type: Unknown
Status: Not Initialized
Partition style: Non Applicable
Capacity: 114471MB
Unallocated space: 114341MB
Reserved space: 0MB

I am currently running on win XP Pro. I know its old.

You need to go back into computer management and initialize the drive and do a quick format so that it will show up in My Computer and Windows Explorer. You can just right click on the small box where the drive number is for the new drive and select initialize disk and then quick format.
