Western Digital Caviar Black sata 2 32mb vs sata 3 64mb

I was just wondering wether there is much difference between the 32mb and 64mb harddrive, does the sata 3 64mb have a significant peformance boost over the sata 32mb model? thanks.

There is a small advantage between two of the same model drives that only differ by cache amount. The sequential access is a little better for 64mb over 32mb.

There is no benefit for hard drives in SATA III over II, the drives don't saturate either type of port, unlike newer SSDs.
