Just got a bangin pc..built it... Knew the 470s were hot but this hot..HOLY ****. Great performance but to keep it as reasonable temps i have the fan on 86% to keep it at 75 on full load and on idle 43... Is this ok... will anything happen.

You don't even need the fans that high if they are really that bothersome. The card will only throttle at 105c. You have a long way to go from that. I'd try to stay between 85-92c at full load. Those cards are BUILT to run hot.

Obviously if the fan noise is no bother to you, then who cares :p

Yeah if you leave your fans on auto, shouldnt get much hotter then 80-90 in your case, and you won't even be able to hear it.

If you make a custom fan profile you should be bale to balance heat/noise.
