Why is my pc cutting out after a while? its still on but not working

Hello,
My pc boots up fine & everything works. But about 30-40 minutes it goes blank. The cpu is still, but nothing works & the screen is no receiving a signal

It could be that something is overheating. Download speedfan and give us the CPU temps to see if that is the issue. Chances are though that it is the graphics card. What kind of GPU do you have? Download Riva Tuner and let us know what kind of temps you are seeing:

Complete rig details please and the details buwish asked for as well. I agree with the heat problem.

Also how old is your PC? Please provide all the details.
