Voltage us vs. eu

Hello,
I have just moved in the US and brought my desktop Acer Aspire t135 with me. I knew the voltage here is lower, so I bought step-up power adapter (40W), which is not powerful enough to start my comp. Is it possible to switch the voltage on my computer as it started to accept 110V? thank you very much for your help

Does your PSU have active PFC? If so it doesnt need to be set to accept 110V, it will accept a full range of voltages from 90V up to ~260V. If it has passive PFC it will likely have a red voltages selector switch on the back of the unit that needs to be flipped to 110V to let it work in the US.
