Hi,
I am considering getting a laptop. I want to say thanks to
those helping me on my other thread. If I were to buy a new laptop
where would I go?
I'm looking for something other then dell and gateway. I like
Alienware but we'll I don't have the money 
What are your thoughts of good places to go?

Just out of curiosity, why not Dell or Gateway?

Notan,
I've had bad experences with Gateway. Dell, the fact they are
open about using less quality products and the fact I am forced to get
software I don't want or need. Which will force me on Day one to
reinstall XP (long story - based on supporting Dell Users).
