Gpu keeps spinnng 100 % at boot

Hey , i recentley had a problem that when i turned my pc on i got a series of long beeps , so i reasembled my pc de-dusted it and put it back togeter then my pc throttles my gpu at boot and never stops i tried to boot without a gpu and then put it in again,same problem

ive had some crashes and blue screens just before this happened


My specs are

q8200 2.3
4gb ddr2
gt220
windows vista 32bit home premium

ive cheked almost everything even replaced vga cable and mouse and keaboard

please help ,thanx in advance

Did you make sure to reconnect all the power connections including the CPU four/eight pin?

Should not have anything to do with windows, as the fan should throttle down after the post beep.
Maybe something went wrong with your bios. Can you enter the bios without problems, make changes and save them?

no i cant even do anything when i press the power button after 2 second i hear neverending very long beeps and the screen stays black

Definitely something wrong with the bios. What brand of mobo do you have?

EDIT: Do you have a spare vid card? If so, try that first.

ihave reset the cmos , bios by taking the batery out for a while and no no soare video card but if i boot withoud A CARD MY PC MAKES the normal boot bleeps and sounds i think its the gpu, it has had some abuse

What do you mean with beeps? Maybe I misunderstood but normally it should beep only once at startup.
