Mt Iomega 1tb Prestige Desktop Hard Drive is connected to my Bell receiver and will not Pause,rewind or record any more but I can still access my recordings. Can any one help me please???

It doesn't sound like a drive problem to me.

If you aim your remote control at the lens of a digital camera, can you see a flash in the view finder every time you press a button on the remote? If not, then the remote control has a problem.

but the buttons work when I go into a previously recorded show, I can pause and rewind. Just can not record anything new or pause live t.v. such a strange problem no one know how to fix! Maybe I should try plugging it in to the computer?
