Hello everyone,
I have Toshiba M35X laptop and such problem. It originally came with 256MB
of RAM so I decided to upgrade it at the beginning. Since that I noticed it
gets really hot at the bottom near memory slots. When I removed the cover I
found that heat comes from both memory modules (as well the new one as the
old one). Shall I worry? Or is it normal. I don't know exact temperature of
memory but if I'd touch this with my for few seconds It would probably hurt
my finger. Maybe someone had such problem? Please share your knowledge with
a newbie to the laptops world. I found information on WWW that the reason
could be poor quality of memory slots. Is it true? If so why the original
memory module also gets hot (I suppose Toshiba wouldn't sell bad quality
parts)?

Yes, Seem to be I got the same problem like your in my Toshiba
M35X-S149. Even I try to run original 256MB Samsung only, it is still
hot. I do not know what cause this problem. Since I am on the road all
the time, please let me know if you can find out some info. Thanks.
