I'm not up to date with the current tech news but I heard that the sandy bridge cpus will be good?

I was wondering if you knew the price of the i5 2400 or 2500?

Whats the difference between 2400K , 2400T and just 2400?

Is an i5 2400 or 2500 a good upgrade from stock clock q9550(can't oc with current mb) assuming the price is ~$200?

thanks

I've been getting ready to get one of the first Sandys on the shelves by preparing the other components for it (thread on this forum) and from what I've been researching I can assure you that the 2500 will readily outperform the Q9550 on pretty well any benchmark you want to throw at it. No prices are real until Intel sets them so that should be close to Xmas. I am expecting to pick up my 2600 (non-K) for around $300. Keep in mind that the mobos for the Sandys will not be cheap, at least at first.
