I need your opinions on a new build.

Ok all it has been a wile since I have been in the loop of things and needs some opinions on a build I will be doing in a month or two. This is a gaming rig to take me another few years it is built as if I were buying it today, so please let me know what you think any and all comments, advie and opinions are welcome weather good nor bad.

So here goes the rig mostly

Mobo : EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) or
EVGA 170-BL-E762-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58
CPU:Intel Core i7-930
Memory:CORSAIR XMS 6GB (3 x 2GB)
Video: x2 EVGA 01G-P3-1373-AR GeForce GTX 460
HDD: Western Digital VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS 150GB
CPU heat sink: Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B CPU Cooler +120mm Fan
PSU: KINGWIN LZG-1000 GOLD 1000W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Black

I left out most of the boring parts like DVD ROM ect. Any input on this would be great. If prices drop by the time I go to pull the trigger I may jump to 470's instead of 460's and I will also put in a 500G to 1 Tb SATA Storage drive. Also any opnions on SSD vs the Raptor.

Hi and welcome to Tom's.

I suggest a few changes to your build.

Put in a WD Black 1TB or a Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD.
You don't need a 1KW PSU and that manufacturer is suspicious to me. Get a Corsair 650W PSU.

For the DVD Burner, a Samsung or an ASUS 24x will do the job.
