Hi guys, not sure what to think here so maybe you guys can help me out.
System:

Asus Sabertooth 990FX
Phenom II Black 955
8GB Corsair Vengeance CAS 8

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After complete installation of OS and Chipset Drivers, which didn't give me any
confirmation or indication of completion at all, I went into device manager and
sees no unknown driver, and that all devices have been properly assigned a
signed driver file. Yet when I loaded CPU-Z, under Chipset it shows "ATI | ID5A14 | REV 02
and Southbridge as "AMD | SB850 | REV 40" Obviously the displays are incorrect, but is this
a clerical error on part of CPU-Z as the chipset / mobo is new? Or did I incorrectly install the
chipset drivers.. Unfortunately I lack the knowledge to check for certain whether the chipset
driver have been installed completely or not, and Asus tech assures me that it did. So do I have
nothing to worry about here???

As long as everything works right I wouldn't worry about it. Remember the 990FX is essentially based on the 790FX when AMD still had it's ATI division. It's likely that they just didn't get around to changing the device id and CPU-z still sees it as ATI
