Is a ati 4770 a good card for my computer?

Hello,
i have a dell inspiron 580, it has a intel i3 540 @ 3.07ghz, 4gb ddr3-1066, 300w power supply. i'm looking to spend around a $100 and i don't think my computer has a pci-e 2.0. so should i go with a different card?

with 300W PSU then HD5670 2.0 version or GT240 is suffice.

why ppl buy PCs from DELL, i dunno. They should be banned, those PCs are really bad, but ppl like the Intel inside sticker, they dont care what else its in it, they dont know the CPU isnt all about.

my resolution is 1440x900 and all kinds of games. first i might get bioshock 2. they don't have to be on the highest settings, i'll take med or med-high settings. also do you think i should get a 500w psu and a cpu cooler?
