Hi, this is my first computer I will ever build, so I want to make sure everything is compatibly. Do I have all the parts to make a PC? Is this PC good enough to play current games at high res?

There's no justification for getting the 768 mb over the 1GB version - GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB

Faster RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)

None of your links are working, but the 790x is a decent enough mid-level chipset.

Faster CPU for $5 extra - AMD Athlon II X4 640

The rest of your build looks pretty alright. Go with a higher wattage PSU (more amps in the 12v rail at least) if you're planning to OC, and/or SLI that 460 in the future.
