Hey ppl, am in a really strange situation,
My pc was working awesome, got a Q 8400 oc to 3.6, Zotac gtx 460, 4 gb ram ddr2, p45 msi board..
The problem arised when i tried to add another 2 gb ram to my setup[got windows 7 ultimate x64], system didnt start up, well obviously at the end, i just removed it, but the problem remained, system just blocked each time on the win 7 loading screen [ the black screen with logo], if i tried to restart then it might just boot well, and everyone down i completely shut down the pc,then at startup, it just hangs again on loading screen. Thats everytime i swith it on. Then it say windows recovered from a serious problem- bluescreen ..124
When system booted well, i checked all the specs, and did some benchmark, results were as before, so all my components are working well, i suppose.
I tried to install win 7 on another disk[500 gb disk bought few days ago], same exact problem !!!

What do you suggest i do ?

NB- GTX 460 , 2 gb ram and hardrive is new, few days old, well they worked well and still do, if wind loads up .

Dude,

I am reasonably confident that you need to change the brand of ram you are using and make the specifications of the new RAM match exactly with your original RAM. Win 7 is very fussy with its RAM. It may even be that it will work with two but not four Gig of that brand. I have the problem before on a laptop.
