Choosing between 2 Gaming Rigs

but isn't the Radeon 5970 way more powerful than the Geforce gtx 480?

well the premise of having 2gb more RAM, a better chipset, and a better processor,a bigger hardrive, while being cheaper, thats sounds a good deal to me.
