My PSU is mising a pin and a wire?

All-right. Last night I decided to take a gander at my newly-purchased PSU and I noticed something was wrong. When I looked at the mobo plug, one pin out of the 20+4 pin connector was missing along with an entire wire. I did a bit of research and apparently this is normal amongst modern PSUs; hell even newegg.com had an image of a PSU with a missing PSU pin..

I just wanted a little bit of confirmation so I don't have to go back to the store and replace it only to make myself look like an idiot.
