1)Do i need to use sata 3 cable for 7200 RPM drive??

2) Is SSD the only thing that uses sata 3 cable?? i mean the only devices that benefit from SATA 3 cable

There is no such thing as a SATA III cable (or a SATA II cable). It's just a SATA cable and it can be used on all SATA drives whether it's a SATA, SATA II, or SATA III drive.

Cables which are sold at a higher price "because they are SATA III compatible" - it's just a marketing con.

Independent testing has shown that there is no difference in performance between cables sold as special "SATA III" cables, and those which are sold as just plain old SATA. see this: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/features/your_sata_cable_slowing_down_your_data_transfers_max_pc_investigates

However, there is a difference in cable quality that may affect a drive's performance, so it pays to buy quality cables to avoid that.
