ATI Overdrive is grey'd out

AGP Radeon 3850
Using the CCC from 10.6 it's all grey'd out. I would like to use it to adjust my fav speeds and such any ideas or is there other programs I should be using?

In the Overdrive tab, Click on the "Key" icon and it should ask you that you are going to unlock it and...., choose "Yes" and it should be unlocked,then click on "Enable manual fan control" and now you can adjust your fan speeds

That sometimes happen,try reinstalling 10.6 again.
