my setup is this:
intel core i7-960 3.2 GHz
ultra X3 1600 watts power supply
gigabyte x58a-ud5
what will be better?
there are some benchmarks?

The difference shouldn't be too big, scaling past three cards is really bad..

Dual 5870 cross fire is nothing but Inbuilt 5970.

If you are interested to buy triple core crossfire go for ATI Radeon 5870 2 GB cards or else go for ATI Radeon 5970 cards.
