Yes - but it would be totally ironic, since the motherboard would be fine with DDR2, but the vidcard totally craves DDR3. Your 'backwards' setup will give much less performance... Going from a GPU with DDR2 VRAM to a GPU with DDR3 VRAM shows a huge difference in gaming. Upvote 0 Downvote
