Hey everyone,

Got a question / advice needed.
A client is wanting to pass extremely sensitive information.. (basically things like SSN's etc) via dropbox. This kinda raised some flags for me and i don't like the idea of it :/. Have been reading through Dropboxes privacy policies and as usual it's kinda unclear as to what they keep/ use / sell.

What are your opinions? Do or don't?

Thanks in advance!

For PII (personally identifiable information), I would recommend sending via an encrypted message (like with PGP) or via a secure website. Dropbox is supposed to only allow access from users you authorize, but you are also taking a chance that the info will remain private.
