Need help upgrading my boot SSD

I currently am using a Crucial 64GB SSD for my OS as my boot drive. It is running out of space, so I am getting a Kingston 120GB SSD. To make sure that the transition to the latter goes off without a hitch (and so that I don't have to reinstall anything), how do I go about cloning or imaging my current drive to create a bootable disk using the new one? I'm sort of new to system building, so step by step instructions would be nice. Thanks in advance.

  1. I don't have time to give you step by step instructions, but Norton Ghost will make a mirror image of your drive so that you can boot from it. Hope that helps.

    Is Norton Ghost free?

EDIT: Never mind; it isn't. So is this what I do:

    1. Attach new drive via external enclosure
    2. Use Ghost (trial) to mirror contents of old drive onto new one
    3. Swap drives and boot from new one

    WOuld that work?
