Cold Cathodes

I am running an Antec 902 case with Asus sabertooth x58 Motherboard, i7 950, and 850W Corsair. This isn't needed really, but I was just wondering if the cathode just plugs directling into the motherboard or a 4 pin in on the PSU? I have also seen those little plug in boxes ( I can't think of the name at the moment), not sure if I need one of those to run 2 cathodes.

Hi connor, I am almost positive that they would use a 4-pin power connector. As for the plug in boxes, I am not familiar with want you are describing, do you mean an inverter?
