I have just bought an Acer Aspire 5251 laptop. I re-configured the partitions according to me needs and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 (64-bit). All the drivers for this model are available on Acer website. All drivers were successfully installed except that of the wireless netwrok card.

The driver is from a company named Atheros but on the front of the laptop, the company of the wireless card is mentioned as "Acer Nplify"? Is there a conflict in the driver providers?

I cannot access my wireless internet and therefore am pretty much in pain. Kindly suggest any possible solutions to this problem.

Regards,

The Acer branding of the wireless adapter is typical marketing nonsense. If you've established that it's an Atheros chipset you now need to know which model -- it may be mentioned in Device Manager or on the Acer site or in the manual.

Look for a generic driver for that chipset model, perhaps via the Atheros home site.
