Is this computer good for game?

First of all, hello!

This is my computer (now)
Quote:
cpu e5200 oc to 3.2ghz
mobo asus p5kpl/1600
vga hd 4350
monitor 17'
psu acbel 470w real power
ram 2gb ddr2 bus 800

In my country, hardware is very expensive.

I'm going to buy HIS HD 5770 + 2Gb DDR2 bus 800.

So with my new 5770 + 4Gb DDR2 + E5200@3.2Ghz, can I play all game now with at least 1280x720 + high settings?

Finally, sorry for my bad English, because I'm Vietnamese.

More about computer good game
  1. yeah as long as its sumwhere around 1280 or 1440 res, u'll probably run every game at high settings
  2. Yes for 1280x720 this should be enough for all games. It's the right upgrade because your old graphics card is very weak
  3. i guess you should go for a 5850 its somewhat better
  4. Can I play games like Crysis, Bad Company 2, Assassin's Creed 2, StarCraft 2, GRID, ... with above settings?
  5. When I say EVERY game, I meant it, bcoz 1280 is a very low resolution and 5770+E5200 to 3.2GHZ shud be more than good enough for that.

the E5200 myt be a little bottleneck, a little nevertheless
  6. Thanks a lot. I'm not good at Hardware (and English)
What about higher OC, for example, 3.5Ghz?
And what about gaming in 1440x900 res?

You don't have to answer if you don't want to. :D

    200mhz isn't really much

1440x900 actually performs better than 1280x720, and evn better than 1280x1024 bcoz its got less pixels..

anyways, u shud really worry if u upgrade to some 1680res monitor or higher, and on 1920 res, especially on Crysis or maybe Crysis 2, u shud get a quad core and/or upgrade to HD5850
