More about what
  1. where are you getting 1150 from? I'm getting 820 with 10 fans 5 hdd and an oc to 3.5ghz (on that calculator)
that was with a 80% load it said 800 was fine.
  2. 1000w is a bit over the top

a quality 850w from seasonic, xfx, antec, corssair is more then enough for you

    CPU: Intel Core i7-920 @ 3.33GHz
    Motherboard: Intel DX58SO (Intel X58)
    Chipset Drivers: Intel 9.1.1.1015 (Intel)
    Hard Disk: OCZ Summit (120GB)
    Memory: Patriot Viper DDR3-1333 3 x 2GB (7-7-7-20)

  3. Like said above by Ct, a good 850W unit should be enough.. Although, if you have the cash and the urge, you can surely go all out blasting and get the Corsair AX 1200 and keep on upgrading to stronger video cards for the next ten years atleast..
  4. [:boudy] Darn you Ct1615, I was going to post that, but I scroll down and there it was.

@ HarleyB - I just thought I would post this PSU:CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-950TX 950W $120 after MIR, for you to take a look at, its a great deal but it does not have modular cables, so you need a case that can handel them all.
