Why do i only get 17 fps in GTA IV. THis is my current computer and sorry i didnt know where to post this, sorry admins :(

Because your video card is 2 generations behind compared to the rest of your system.
The 9800GTX is only a mid-range card by today's standards.

Also, you're running dual channel on a tri-channel board, just to note.

And what resolution do you play at?
GTA 4 is a bad coded game, don't expect much with this game, even high end system still difficult to handle this game... :)

haha ik i have dual channel its from my old 790 mobo. im debating getting a 470 now or waiting for the next gen nvidia cards

Take out a stick and run 6GB, you don't need more than 4GB 90% of the time anyways.

Get 2 GTX460s and SLI. $400 Bliss.
