My dvd drive is dad so I have bought new one, (LG dvd drive) but it is not deteced either in bios or in OS (win7). Any ideas?? I tried to update bios. Aloso checked cables, power cable and sata, everything is ok.

I discovered that my sata 3gbit/s are not working, neither of them. So i connect my dvd rom to sata 6gbit/s , is that ok? And is there any way to repair those sata 3gbit/s ???
