Ps3 gpu

Hello,
I bought a broken ps3 on ebay. The cpu and gpu metal plates were removed for some reason by previous owner probably in an attempt to reflow system. They then reattached them with what looks like thermal paste.
Can I repair these processors and what kind of adhesive would I use?

You cant repair the "processors" no. What exactly is wrong???

Have they been refitted incorrectly?

It would be VERY difficult to repair or even replace the Cell BBE. its not just any old CPU u know... good luck anyway
