Upgrading RAM in Dell Dimension 9150
Jul 15, 2011, 1:39 PM
Howdy all just had a quick question. I'm about to buy some more RAM for my Dell 9150 but am a bit confused about all the DIMM, UDIMM, RDIMM stuff. What is the difference between these? Would I be ok buying this RAM?
I plan on buying 2 of them. Thanks!

The crucial generic ram you selected should work fine. Always match the ram in pairs to use dual channel mode and populate either 2 or 4 slots. Rdimm is old obsolete rambus memory; udimm may be registered (not sure). Non ecc is what you need.
