Acer aspire 5734z-4836 specs

Hello,
The Acer Aspire 5734z-4836 we bought has only one speaker on the left rear corner. That seems strange that there is only one speaker. Could that be a manufacturing fault?

It appears that there is a Left speaker set and a Right speaker set.

Have you set the balance equally between the speakers? That would be the place to start. It may be possible that the Right speaker is muted.

No, the model laptop in question (Acer Aspire 5734Z-4836) only has one speaker on the left side of the case. Audio is really sub-par using just that speaker. Instead, use a headphone to get a better audio experience. It's not designed to be a gaming PC or iPod replacement-it's a no-frills laptop to allow you to get basic computing done at a low price. So some corners were cut to meet the price point. It's why the laptop only has 2 USB ports and no HDMI port.
