New build, no post but fans will spin. Per troubleshooting, I removed the ram sticks and got the memory error tones. Looking on the manufacturer site, the ram I purchased is not listed as supported. Would this issue prevent posting?
Want to try and avoid the restocking fee if I haven't ruled out another cause.

Thanks

Problems with the memory system anyway, and most likely the sticks themselves.

My reasoning for that is simply that the system is functioning correctly without the RAM, and isn't with, so it is probably the RAM that is the culprit. I could be wrong and it could be something else though.
