I've read a bunch of threads for other HTPCs, but they weren't exactly what I was looking for so I've started my own thread. I don't have anything set in stone part-wise. I'm going to be using this to stream videos, store movies/tv shows and watch from it. I'd also like to have a TV tuner to record football games. And lastly this might also be used as an airvideo server for my ipad, if it doesn't hurt the overall performance.

Not worried about hard drive space, I have a 500 GB sitting around and will expand to a 2 TB drive or an external at a later date.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Output to a 720p Samsung plasma
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Quiet is good, and I'd probably leave this thing on 24/7 with the occassional reboot.
