74GB "used", only 57 actually stored

I have an SSD from Samsung, the 830 128GB.
It has windows and BF3 on it.
I check, went one by one and it stacks up to about 57 GB of real used memory, while it shows on Properties that 74 is actually used.
WTF?!

More about 74gb used stored
  1. There may also be hidden folders, hibernation file which is as big as your RAM size, also system restore files and temporary files.
  2. Page file too. Plus a "128 GB" disk isn't necessarily providing 128 GB as measured by Windows (overprovisioning and GB vs. GiB).
  3. Hidden files, page file, hibernate file.
  4. Ok.
So thats normal to have around 20GB of those?

Don't confuse "memory" with storage. Memory is RAM. HDDs & SSDs are storage devices. Formatting a storage device occupies about 10% of the available space.
