First build for me, semi-budget, mostly CAD, AM3 build

this is my first build. i've been waiting for a few months now so i'm pretty excited.

so the system looks like this

Antec 300
Corsair 850TX
Phenom II x6 1055T
Noctua NH-U12P
Gigabyte 890GPA-UDH3
Asus 4870 1Gb
Kingston HyperX 2x2GB 1333MHz CL7
Intel SSD 40GB X25-V SATA2
BenQ G2420HDBL

I have some new questions.

if i'll overclock the processor:
1. will the AMD turbo core still work (boosting the frequency of 3 of the 6 cores)?
2. should I get higher frequency memory?

if you overclock, turbo boost will NOT work properly. Turn it off if you overclock.

you won't notice much difference between 1333 and 1600 memory

A 650W PSU would be fine. A HD 5770 is newer and consumes less power, less heat too.

i choose the 4870 becose i read it works well softmoded into firepro.

the price difference between 650tx and 850tx is small, so i thought it would give some room for upgrades (maybe the video card(s)).
