Q8300+5850 bottleneck?

HI, Im thinking of upgrading to a q8300 and a 5850, will there be any bottleneck in that combo? My psu is a xion 500w with dual 12v rails @ 17/18amps will it be enough?

I have no idea about the PSU i have tried to look it up but cant find a model that matches. On the plus side you have no Bottleneck worries.

Still cant get any usefull info on the PSU im afraid. The problem is that they sometimes lie about the ratings of the rails and you really need to know the wattage on the rails to find the actual power in amps that it can deliver. lets try it another way around. What Graphics card were you running before ?

It should be enough, the 5850 draws only about 100W or so.

The Q8300 might be a little slow at stock speeds though.
